Who we are:

We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T) towards future warfare needs of the Indian Defence forces.It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT’s product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.

Roles and Responsibility include but are not limited to:

• System engineering activities required to support system definition, data exchange, architecture definition, prototyping and evolution of concepts
• Operational Concept (ConOps) development
• Use case development
• Coordination with customers, partners & stakeholders
• Coordinate cross-team efforts towards product development strategy and resolve technical issues.
• Plan and execute test procedure and perform VnV tasks
• Support technical product documentation

Candidate must have strong fundamentals in the following areas:

• Unmanned Aircraft Design

Or

• Design & Development of Airborne Stores

Desired Skills & Knowledge:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in hardware development 
• Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering disciplines
• Experience leading a UAV project from concept to flight testing
• Ability to work independently and productively with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of DDPMAS, JSS Penta Five & DGCA regulations
• Familiarity with STANAG 4586 & MIL-STD
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• UAV piloting experience is a plus.
• Fixed Wing UAV Design & Development experience is preferred

Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree (Aerospace/Aeronautics, Electronics, Mechanical) in Engineering. Advanced degree preferred.
