Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and review of systems safety requirements, preferably in Aerospace domain.
• Assist systems safety analysis process and methods in line with ARP4761.
• Assist supplier safety artifacts reviews and configuration management of safety artifacts.
• Perform Requirements Management in DOORS.
• Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
• Coordinates with engineering functions to understand and define systems safety requirements and other specialty engineering groups.
• Participates in developing the planning, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management.
• Present requirement, design and/or development revisions and changes to formal change boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors engineering degree, Preferably Electronics/Aeronautical/Electrical/Systems Engineering with up to 3-5 years / Master's degree, with up to 1-2 years' related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

• Basic understanding of safety driven systems development process.
• Knowledge on Safety Assessment Process as per ARP4761 and development Assurance (ARP4754A) is preferred.
• Knowledge on safety analysis such as FMEA, FTA and Reliability Tools is preferred.
• Exposure to Systems testing knowledge.
• Hands on Experience on IBM Rational DOORS in Requirements Management is preferred.
• Basic understanding of systems architecture.
• Strong written, verbal communication with engineers, management, and non-engineering support staff.
• Ability to work in a virtual team environment.

Experience
