Job Description

Job Purpose

To lead the system adaptation activities to ensure ATM systems are maintained, improved and updated to enable the provision of air traffic services.
 

Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Maintain, update and upgrade ATM systems to ensure air traffic operations can be conducted in an optimal manner 
• Align system adaptation with the approved regulatory publications and regulations to ensure compliance 
• Maintain ATC information database as required to support air traffic operations 
• Adhere to the change management processes and maintain record of system adaptations as per quality control guidelines 
• Investigate adaptation-related faults on ATM systems and generate reports to ensure necessary remedial action(s) is taken 
• Facilitate the provision of data to the Statistics Officer as and when required to enable report generation 
 
Technical Competencies
Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor’s Degree/Higher Diploma or equivalent
• Manufacturer training courses of relevant ATM systems
 
Experience:
• 10 years’ experience in maintaining adaptation/data sets on ATM systems
• ICAO recognized ATC License endorsed with aerodrome and/or approach ratings or, alternatively, ATSEP qualification
 
Special Technical Skills:
• ATM Systems Knowledge & Management
• Knowledge of ICAO regulations, standards, recommendations, and documentation for ATC/CNS
• SMS, QMS, and other international standards pertaining to the delivery of Air Navigation Services
• IT proficiency
