Job Description

Required Skills:

• Engineering or Diploma Degree – Mechanical , Aeronautical, Industrial Production, Automobile, AME and AMAeSI.
• Experience in Aircraft Line Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul, Manufacturing and Assembly
• Exposure to Aviation / Automotive industry practices and standards.
• Experience in authoring tools like PTC arbortext editor, Oxygen, etc along with any CSDB like ETPS, Windchill, SDL Tridion etc.
• Knowledge/experience of Illustration tools like Autotrol, Isodraw and CAD tools like Catia, Unigraphics, AutoCad etc. will be added advantage
• Visualization skills like 2D to 3D conversion
• Understanding and Interpretation of Engineering Drawings. Doing Impact analysis of Engineering documents and Illustrating of Aircraft Parts/Assemblies in the manuals like AMM, AIPC, SRM, FIM, CMM and others.
• Knowledge of DITA would be added advantage.
• Responsible for Impact Analysis, Estimation, Authoring, research of information related to authoring updates of the engineering system. Executes the above activities in a timely and accurate manner
• Must be able to analyze/interpret engineering CAD models using NX and identify the authoring procedures in detail along with applicable pre-requisite information
• Create/revise the authoring content to meet the manual requirements
• Performs quality assurance of one’s own input to validate the accuracy, coverage and completeness of the information provided by various data sources
• Uses standards and guideline as defined to check authoring/Illustration quality. Looks into changes to each work product on a daily basis
• Double-checks own/others inputs with standard tools and guidelines
• Implements any changes to authoring procedure effectively
• Performs tasks independently and guide others and will be considered as SME [System Matter Expert]
• Has proficient knowledge of  manuals towards the delivery and supports  in  doing peer reviews
• Must also have domain knowledge of systems along with proficiency in authoring  and Illustration processes, WOW, tools etc..
• Must also understand Illustration requirements, must be keen to learn any illustration tools, having experience in illustration tools will be added advantage
