As a Software Engineer, you will be a major actor in the software development phase of IESI (Integrated electronic standby instrument) project in Thales AVS department.
In more details :
Ensure software development (analysis, specification, Code, Test implementation, integration, validation and verification) according to aeronautics normalization (DO178 DAL C).
o Requirement, Software development from software requirements as per DO178 DAL C.
o Peer review
o Debugging on cross compiler platform.
o Regression, unit, integration testing
o Debugging and resolving complex problems by using Tests Benches and Tools.
o Ensure quality deliveries before hand-off to Quality Assurance teams for further testing and verification.
• Focus on timely delivery with quality and cost.
• Participate in an AGILE team involved in the development.
• Apply and comply with the configuration management process.
• Cascade trustable information to the Senior/Lead Engineers.
• Comply with Organizational policies.
Mandatory Skills::
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Should have overall 5 to 9 years engineering experiences in software development in Aviation.
• Candidate should be Strong in writing HLR/LLR, CODE, and HLT/LLT.
• Experience in Software Development (debugging).
• Knowledge of Avionics Domain Primary flight display system & DO-178 process.
• Knowledge of A429 protocol.
• Expertise & working experience in Unit testing and System testing using RTRT tool.
• Expertise & working experience in 'C' language.
• Understanding of configuration management process & tools (e.g. GIT,DOOR,JIRA etc)
Good to have
• Working experience in 'SCADE' and 'SCADE Display ‘tool.
• Avionics protocols (A664 – AFDX, RS232).
• Knowledge of scripting language (e.g. Python, Ruby)
• System level knowledge of cockpit display system and Communication (VHF,HF etc) equipment’s.
