Job Description

To receive, control, update and distribute / publish the engineering and operational technical data to support the maintenance, continued airworthiness and safe operation of Emirates and third party customer aircraft to the highest quality standards in compliance with the company and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical Record / Library :
• 12 Years schooling or equivalent :
• or equivalent in an Aviation related subject (e.g. Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering). 4+ years work experience in a technical publication department, preferably in an airline environment or aircraft maintenance and repair organisation. Knowledge/skills: Advanced Microsoft Office - Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft SharePoint Basic knowledge of UNIX, SGML (structured technical documents) Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and flight operation documentation and documentation management systems Fluency in spoken and written English UAE driving license required for airport driving permit Safety Sensitive Role: Yes Details of Safety Sensitive role Yes/No Hazards Working at height Exposure to hazardous energy systems Work in confined spaces Contact with human waste Contact with other hazardous materials Heavy lifting Work in a noisy environment Other ( please specify) Hours of work Day/night ( shift roster) Day hours only 8.5 hour working day Yes 10 hour working day 12 hour working day Additional requirements Airport driving permit Yes Other ( please specify)
