Engineering Management

• Reports directly to TSE - Lead Engineer.
• To ensure that the Structural Engineering Group is managed in an effective and well-documented manner in accordance with good engineering practice and the Company's quality assurance system.
• Coordinates with manufacturers develops and approves structural repairs for aircraft and components.
• Liaises with manufacturers to undertake repairs of a minor nature that are not covered by repair manuals.
• Provides technical services for the passenger compartment and flight deck seats, galleys, toilets, stowage structures, interior markings, emergency equipment, seat controls, galley equipment, and systems.
• Carry out Designs and implements cabin reconfigurations in accordance with flynas demanding brand standards.
• Prepares and manages retrofit configuration layouts and manages modifications to bring aircraft up to flynas standard.
• Evaluates and reviews Airworthiness directives and OEM service bulletins as per Authorities guidelines and Fleet performance reliability with respect to Aircraft structures and interiors and provide implementation plan in liaison with the Technical planning section
• Responsible to CAMO manager for Engineering issues concerning aircraft systems, components, and products during maintenance and operation of flynas fleet.
• Liaises with Technical services various sections for Service Bulletins (SB) and Airworthiness Directives (AD) for accomplishment based on analysis of airline maintenance operations and financial cost-benefit analyses.
• Coordinates recommendations for any changes that impact airplane flight operations.
• Supports review and approval of technical manual and maintenance program changes based on analysis of airline maintenance operations and reliability data.
• Produce the monthly reliability report
• Prepares and arranges the Monthly/ quarterly and yearly reliability meeting
• Evaluates and initiates follow-up action for generated Alert levels.
• Maintain Airframe Service Bulletin and Airworthiness Directive database.
• Develop and maintain Maintenance Program (MPD) based on analysis of OEM Maintenance Planning Document (MPD) and operators’ reliability recommendations.
• Supports the coordination of maintenance-related certification requirements (e.g. Extended Operations (ETOPS), Certification Maintenance Requirements (CMR), Airworthiness Limitations (AWL), etc.) across engineering groups, operator, and regulators to maintain product type certification and sustaining operations.
• Review and implement MPD updates.

Policies and Procedures

• Provide technical support to MCC and maintenance.
• Ensure that all aircraft are dispatched in a timely manner and handle in accordance to standard procedures with full compliance to relevant airworthiness requirements.
• Ensures a high level of work quality and productivity of each staff.

Reporting and Document Control

• Carry out other duties as assigned by TSE – Lead Engineer or his delegate.
• Maybe delegated as TSE – Lead Engineer

Job Requirements

Knowledge and Experience

• 3-5 years in Technical Services Engineering - Aircraft structures and interiors in Line or Base Maintenance in an Airline or MRO. 1 year of which should be in a Supervisory capacity maintaining the same category and class of aircraft operated by flynas.
• Knowledge of Aviation regulations, company policies, and standards.
• Knowledgeable with the use of aircraft manuals.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering or other engineering courses.
• Training certificate holder of any OEM Structures repair for engineers part 1 course from Airbus or Boeing
• Training certificate holder of any OEM reliability and schedule maintenance training programs
