Job Description

Provide technical solutions for MSC’s Aerospace business in India, in association with the team that helps to accelerate the adoption of MSC products and improve customer productivity through effective solutions, sales, and marketing engagements across industries for MSC’s simulation technologies.
 

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Successfully position and prove solutions based on MSC’s suite of products in the Aerospace industry, help generate business opportunities, and bring them to fruition
• As a member of the  BD & Presales team work with sales personnel to provide product, domain and technology knowledge in support of pre-sales and business development activities
• Responsible for understanding and solving business and technical challenges faced by customers including industry practices, key regulations, business drivers, competitive analyses, evolving business needs, etc.
• Responsible for staying up-to-date of product roadmap as well as understanding the scenarios, features and functions within each of the products
• Attend conferences and work with Subject Matter Experts, and research to stay on top of changes in business and technology; Develop industry-specific and technical whitepapers

EDUCATION

• Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related from a reputed institution
• Strong understanding and experience in Aerospace Structural and Controls simulation with leading commercial simulation softwares

EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of experience in the field of Finite Element Analysis, Aero Structures
• Good knowledge of industry standards, processes and tools
• Experience with MSC Nastran/Patran and related MSC Software Solutions
• Demonstrate capability to perform various types of analyses, and in developing simulation methods, techniques and solutions

• Excellent analytical, verbal, written and communication skills, and able to communicate technical and business information to widely varied audiences
• Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills
• Ability to understand and capture business requirements, processes and challenges
• Excellent problem solving skills, and demonstrated ability to handle complex challenges even under pressure
