Job Description

Educational Qualifications         

• Diploma Holder in related engineering discipline (Mechanical/Aircraft Maintenance/Avionics) will be preferred.
• Or recognized Aircraft Maintenance training certificate
• Or ICAO Type-II LWTR certification or its equivalent

Skills/Knowledge           

• Proficiency in English & Arabic (Spoken & Written)
• Basic computer knowledge
• Attention to detail
• To carry out inspection, repair, work on passenger seats, crew seats, galleys, Lavatories, aircraft cabin equipment, all fixtures & fittings items associated with the aircraft cabin interior in accordance with the approved company procedures as per airworthiness and regulatory requirements.
• Carry out scheduled /unscheduled inspection, repair of all cabin equipment, fixtures / fittings and during the scheduled service checks as per company policy.
• Responsible for carrying out certification of his own work as directed by approval holders / immediate reporting personnel’s.
• To ensure aircraft cabin interiors are maintained as per Oman Air standards.
• Capable to perform laminate, leather & NTF repair/replacement.
• To ensure Oman air safety policies and requirements are adhered and followed.
• To ensure cabin safety aspects are maintained during cabin maintenance and pay particular attention to Emergency equipment.
• Knowledge of Technical Documents such as AMOS, CMM, IPC, & AMM pertaining to the repair, removal and maintenance work carried out on the cabin interior.
• Available for one call support and to work on overtime when required.
• Responsible to obtain cabin approval and maintain validity including certificates and trainings.
• Proper housekeeping of the working area, including the office works and locker area.
• To ensure cabin spares and materials are controlled as per company policies.
• Any other job/task assigned by the management
