Educational Qualifications         

• Fresh Two years college Diploma in Computer technology or related field

Skills/Knowledge           

• Proficient in English (Spoken & Written)
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
• Ability to install, configure and maintain personal computers, networks, and related hardware and software.
• Knowledge of computer and/or network security systems, applications, procedures, and techniques.
• Ability to identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operational problems.
• Install, setup, and monitor local area network (LAN).
• Perform a variety of maintenance, evaluation, installation, and training tasks to ensure LAN performance meets company and user requirements adhering to the policies and procedures set and followed by the Company

Operation

• Provide end user support for network access and connectivity and ensure that the user reported problems are resolved timely and effectively.
• Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
• Provide the required technical assistant on Oman Air’s LAN and WAN setup
• Timely resolution of the assigned IT service Tickets pertaining to networking infrastructure covering IP-Telephony setup
• Attend to user networking requirements through site visits and assist in the preparation of SoW documents
• Monitor Cabling Technicians to ensure that termination of cables are carried out as per industry standards for cabling
• Repair all faulty connections in coordination with Cabling Technicians
• Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and assist in implementing required solutions.
• Participate in the continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times and streamline work processes.
• Carry out any other duties directed by management
