Job Description

Diagnose and correct routine problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems. Utilize Maintenance Management System to record and track maintenance activities.

Will also be responsible for:

• Perform standard Simulator support activities such as operation, inspection, periodic maintenance (align & adjust), of Simulator components and systems.
• Able to quickly identify, troubleshoot, repair, or replace most of the simulator electrical and subsystem components and most hydraulic system components.
• Perform customer configuration changes to simulators, evaluate and confirm the proper post-change operation. This includes hardware, software, and avionics database change-outs.
• Applies advanced knowledge and experience to solve complex or system problems related to simulation.
• Testing to ensure that simulator are realistic and follow authority protocols such as FAA or JAA.
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to less proficient technicians including subcontractors.
• Follow Quality Operating Procedures (QOPs) and provide reports to upper management team.
• Maintains required documentation of maintenance activities.
• Ensuring that all work meets deadlines and standards for quality and accuracy.
• Work with simulator manufactures for updates, upgrades, and concurrency requirements.
• Perform acceptances for all new simulator devices.
• Assist with the operation of the simulators in training sessions when required.

QUALIFICATION

•  - University or Technical College Degree or similar in a relevant area of study or technical experience.
• Interprets mechanical, electrical and electronic schematics.
• Skill in troubleshooting electronic, hydraulic, visual, pneumatic and mechanical systems pertaining to simulators.

EXPERIENCE

 For UAE National (Emiritization)

•   Minimum 0-3 Years experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operation of simulators.
•   Electronics technology, avionics or related civilian/military technology knowledge.
•   Fresh graduates UAE Nationals with no experience undergoing (structured On-the-Job Training) OJT program.

For Non-National

•   Minimum 3-6 Years experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and operation of simulators.
•   Electronics technology, avionics or related civilian/military technology knowledge.
