Job Profile

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of database for elements in the enquiries which includes imported standard parts, raw materials, and special processes.
  • Detailed Estimation of enquiries and preparation of supporting documents for tender bidding.

Job Description

  • To study and interpret Engineering drawing and technical specifications
  • Interacting with reputed overseas customers, government bodies about their enquiries
  • Prepare detailed estimates with costing of Raw materials, bought out items, Man and machine hours, special processes required for RFQ.
  • Review estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with defined scope of work.
  • Maintaining database with details of special Imported standard parts, raw materials and special processes to pass on to execution team.
  • Cross-functional support for execution of Projects.
  • Study potential Govt. tenders and new RFQ’s.
  • Develop technical proposal for tenders
  • Preparation of required compliance documentation for bidding of tenders.

Qualification Details

  • Essential Qualification: Bachelors or Diploma in Engineering
  • With minimum 1-2 years of experience in estimation of tenders for government tenders is added advantage.

Special Skill Essential:

  • Good understanding of mechanical drawings
  • Knowledge of practical manufacturing processes like Machining, fabrication, NDT, Assembly.
  • 3)     Proficient communication skills
  • 4)     Commercial and taxation knowledge
  • 5)     Computer Proficiency with MS office is Preferred.
  • 6)     Must be adaptable, eager to learn new concepts.
