Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Solving vivid problems on thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics for heat transfer problems.
  • Responsible for working on design towards optimized configuration for heat transfer.
  • Using modelling and simulation tools for heat transfer and thermal studies to design for heat transfer.
  • Creating engineering CAD models based on input requirements and discussion, and creating quality meshes, setup / run using CFD software and post-process the results.
  • Writing regular reports and documentations on current processes and projects.
  • Responsible for undertaking, and successfully handling work on multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Key Requirements:

  • B.Tech/M.Tech/MS in Mechanical/Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering with expertise in thermal modelling and simulation
  • 3+ years of industry experience in CFD and thermal design
  • Possess a good understanding of, and relevant work experience in heat transfer and related design.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in and well versed with using CFD / Meshing tools (Fluent, CFX, StarCCM+) for analysis.
  • Experience with thermal design for aerospace applications.
  • Experienced with programming Python, C, C++ etc.
  • Experience in working with and studying engineering optimization.
