Job Description

• 
  Performs monitoring, controlling, planning and upkeep of aircraft tools and equipment’s.
• Carry out issuing of tools, test equipment’s to aircraft Engineers/ Technician and GSE Technicians in TRAX.
• Receiving return tools/test equipment’s in TRAX.
• Monitor, control and update the Tool & Equipment Inventory system in TRAX.
• Accomplishes the shift turn over book.
• Accepting new and calibrated tool from Stores receiving section.
• Checks the condition of incoming and outgoing tools to ensure serviceability.
• Maintains the register of all calibrated equipment with complete calibration date and all equipment details in TRAX. 
• Prepares requisition of tools and consumable materials needed for the aircraft and monitor their stock and expiry date.
• Ensure proper markings, tags, binning and barcode labels of all tools and consumable materials for efficient storage and identification.
• Maintain an updated and complete reference material for all tools and equipment’s.
• Performs minor maintenance & repairs, lubrication, periodic inspection of mechanical tools and equipment as required during initial acceptance or prior to shipping/transport or issuance of tools.       
• Segregating of tool to be calibrated.
• Checking status of tool arrival that are sent for Repair.
• Plans & arrange for the periodic recalibration of PME (Precision Measuring Equipment)
• Conducts regular tools inventory to maintain credible inventory report and readiness for regulatory audit.
• Carry out other duties as per instructions from GSE Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience i on handling aircraft tools and equipment
  ·         Diploma/ Bachelor’s in aviation courses or other related technical courses.
