Due to strong regional growth we have an opportunity for a Total Rewards Senior Manager and Regional Lead (Asia Pacific &India) to join The Boeing Company's Total Rewards (TR) group to provide real-time consultation to HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders in Asia-Pacific and India for all areas within Total Rewards (Compensation and Benefits).

Based out of Bangalore - India, Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia, or Singapore, the role will lead the regional TR strategy, indirectly lead the compensation and benefits centers of excellence (COE) teams, and as member of TR Leadership Team, will provide Voice of the Business input to the compensation and benefits COEs team regarding strategies, program design, process, and communications to optimize the impact of the company’s investment in TR. This position will partner with the compensation and benefits strategy and process teams to develop business focused strategies and solutions.  This critical role will lead the team in developing holistic compensation and benefit solutions and proactively bring insights and anticipate future trends to ensure Total Rewards programs and plans are outcome driven, market competitive, cost-effective and enable talent and business objectives at all levels.

Role Description

  • Responsible for leading and developing the TR Partner teams in partnership with compensation and benefits subject matter experts.
  • Liaison with other COE counterparts throughout the HR function to foster high-value, coordinated consultation for Boeing businesses and functions.
  • Proactively bring specialist insights to customers/stakeholders, and business insights to the TR COEs. Facilitates to align perspectives of the COEs and the business to align solutions.
  • In collaboration with HR generalists (HRG) incorporate business considerations into evaluation of holistic TR solutions (M&A, unions, legal/regulatory developments, etc.).
  • Lead the businesses to ensure enterprise level compensation and benefits programs and plans are outcome driven, market competitive, cost-effective and enable talent and business objectives at all levels.
  • Anticipate future trends for the enterprise and business units, and collaborate with HRGs and other stakeholders to design breakthrough programs.
  • Provide voice of the business input to compensation and benefits strategy and process teams regarding regional strategies, program design, process, and communications to optimize the impact of the company’s investment in Total Rewards.
  • Provide internal consulting services through the COE resources on pay, promotions, job design/classification, recognition, variable compensation, new position offers and benefit programs. In partnership with COEs, provide guidance, recommendations and education on compensation and benefits matters.
  • Partners with the HRGs to lead the execution of compensation and benefits programs and processes.
  • In partnership with the COEs, consult with, educate and train HR and Business leaders on benefits, compensation and pay/classification matters. Coordinate enterprise compensation and benefit program approvals, deviations or changes through COEs.
  • Partner with COEs to ensure development of pay positioning strategies for the business to establish externally competitive and internally equitable compensation rates; including conducting studies and perform data analysis to determine pay equity for job offers, pay adjustments and salary review.
  • Monitor performance metrics for compensation and benefit programs. Ensure COEs deploy and monitor progress and results of compensation processes, procedures, guidelines, tools and schedules.
  • Review and approve executive salary management and other pay recommendations to ensure compliance with compensation policies, market competitiveness and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Labor Relations on compensation and benefits elements of union contracts and negotiations, and positive employee relation matters.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and typically 10+ years relevant work and leadership experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in Compensation and Benefits with strategic perspectives combined with hands-on attitude and consultative approach.
  • It is advantageous to have a Certified Compensation Profession (CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBA) designation, or similar.
