This traineeship is an opportunity for aspiring individuals who are keen to join aviation industry but do not meet the pre-requisites as a trained aircraft engine technician. Upon successful completion of the programme, a career as a qualified aircraft engine technician awaits you.
The programme involves a fully-sponsored training programme with an allowance of S$1,600 – S$1,800 per month over the one-year training period. The programme encompasses initial company familiarisation, classroom training and on-the-job training. The initial familiarisation in SAESL provides an insight to the working environment prior to attending classroom training. The three-month classroom training, consisting of theory and practical sessions, will be conducted and assessed by an external training academy. The nine-mon th on-the-job training in SAESL provides the opportunity to learn and work on the renowned Rolls-Royce Trent Engines.
Upon completion of the training, the qualified aircraft engine technician will serve a two-year bond with SAESL.
The starting salary of a shift-rostered technician at SAESL is between S$2,050 and S$2,150. Career progression opportunity is open to promising technicians.
