Job Description

Main Objectives

Develop and Support the Soft Skill training program and induction across all areas of Gulf Air

All employees are inducted understanding the company vision & mission and their contribution to the success of Gulf Air

To habitually provide effective and efficient training administration that is consistent with the main duties listed in this document.

Main Duties

  • Recommend, design, and conduct innovative learning and development programs that support the employment lifecycle, including onboarding and career development.
  • Design and develop online and in person courseware required for internal training courses to support organizational development.
  • Continually update and enhance training programmes in line with Gulf Air’s strategic objectives
  • Carry out basic administration functions to support own, T&D Instructor & departmental work, including the preparation of course reports, training records, assessments, individual training evaluations and communications as well as general data entry & database maintenance. 
  • Carry out any other training related functions that may be required.

Education & Training

  • Education equivalent to HND level in Human Resources, Business or related learning and development discipline.
  • Must be computer literate in Windows & Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint & Excel.
  • Confident and capable in written and spoken English and Arabic.

Experience

  • A minimum (5) years of experience in training and administration role.
  • The position holder must have the following skills –
  • Able to plan & organize effectively.
  • Persuasive Communication style, Interpersonal skills and Team Work orientation.
  • Socially Confident
  • Knowledge of designing and delivering best practice learning solutions
  • Knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles, and of a wide range of training methods, techniques, and formats.
  • Skilled in facilitating learning.
