Job Description

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.

VIE Main Requirements:

• - European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old.
• - Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any.
• - Fluent in English.

As the selected candidate, you will be based in New Delhi.

Your contract will be for a duration of 12 months.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Capture and consolidate all necessary inputs to run the Airbus India performance management system (KPIs, scorecard, milestones, ...)
• Contribute to elaborate all necessary Public Affair briefings related to customers, suppliers, customers, political / economic events, ...
• Support the Chief of Staff to prepare the material required for Airbus India governance routines: Board meetings, Regional Operational Reviews, Regional Business Reviews
• Take an active role in deploying Airbus India communication strategy (social media, press interactions, event preparation)
• Ensure a good calendar planning for the CEO's office  
• Assist the Chief of Staff for the ExCom visits/ other events 
• Support the Head of Functions and Presidents of Divisions to comply with the Airbus India 9 priorities
• Choose a project with one function/business, if required - An example of a mini project could be: Develop the civil helicopter market in India (working with the Chief of Staff + helicopters team)

Required skills

You have the following skills and experience:

• Educated to a Master degree (or equivalent) in Management, Business, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Recently graduated with less than 1 year of experience
• Understanding of the aviation industry and interest for this sector
• Customer focus and mindset
• Strong knowledge of handling business analytics and detailed data analysis/data crunching
• Ability to prepare and present strategy, analysis, dashboard to both internal and external business partners
• Autonomous, rigorous and curious
• Organized and capable to take initiatives
• Outstanding team player and interest for working in an multicultural environment with an international team
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of Pack Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite. 
• Negotiation level of English
