Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform Engine Testing, inspections, repair, disassembly, assembly in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers’ instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Services Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA and other aviation authorities
  • Solve technical issues and problems as appropriate when encountered in daily work
  • Actively support and participate in ACE, CIT, DIVE, EHS and Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives
  • Assist Supervisors in their day to day operations to achieve production targets, corporate goals and discipline
  • To carry out housekeeping and other workshop activities as directed by the Supervisors
  • Lead and supervise a team of technicians in performing daily tasks
  • Allocate work to crew members and monitor work progress
  • Carry out SAP and Solumina transactions and make necessary changes to work order in SAP & Solumina
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance/ Aircraft Component/ Mechanical Engineering/ Mechanical Technology/ Mechatronics or any other relevant disciplines, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in aviation industry
  • Must possess relevant CAAS examination credits or aircraft maintenance engineer license
  • Good analytical skills, able to grasp concepts, track and resolve issues quickly
  • Strong support and participate in ACE, CIT, DIVE and Kaizen initiatives
  • Good team player with good organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to multi-task, work independently and work under pressure
