An Analysis: Pakistan Aviation Industry-2022

Economic Status

Even Pakistan being the second-largest economy state in South Asia with a large population that exceeds over 220 million and still growing, its economic structure is something to be very concerned about.

Over the decades the world has seen its constant course in downfall. In contrast to this, all is not yet lost its other sectors, specifically its service sectors have been in a flow of growth despite the manifold challenges it has been facing over the past two decades, because of this the economy is in a progressively moving in a higher and sustainable growth path and it has been in a constant path for a while now.

Thanks to the international market Pakistan has a somewhat solid chance to sustain its major concern regarding growth in revenue.

Pakistan’s Style, Glamour and Charisma

Pakistan’s Aviation Industry was once considered one of the most luxurious airliners in the world because of its Style, Glamour and Charisma. At one point in time, Pakistan International Airlines was named ‘Number One airliner’ in the world and it has played a major role in the growth of the aviation industry.

Because of Pakistan’s Aviation Industry other airlines such as Emirates, Air Malta, and other airliners. Because of its history and past reputation in the field of aviation, Pakistan’s aviation sector is now being described as a ‘Sleeping giant’ which is ironic considering its economic status and yet despite all of this there is still hope, it needs to wake up and take the new and possible potential opportunities before it’s too late.

Other countries have stated, “Despite Pakistan being the fifth most populous country across the globe, the country’s domestic market performs poorly in terms of available domestic seats divided by the population.” This statement is not far from the truth Pakistan aviation industry needs to capture every single opportunity that is representing itself, there is no other option available or hoping for a better tomorrow cliché wake up, buckle up and start moving forward, take all it can.

Aviation Industry a Comeback

Before the pandemic, only three of Pakistan’s top ten international routes were offering their optimal capacity as a low-cost carrier service. Most of its routes included Gulf countries like UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait) still, as a low-cost carrier not as a ‘potential giant’, it could be.

Pakistan’s airline industry has so much potential to grow and generate its popularity in the world of airliners that it’s like a ‘sitting duck’ in the market if nothing changes, other airliners going to keep on rising up like the ‘endless sky’ Pakistan airline industry needs to release this as soon as possible.

However relying only on our international market won’t change the issues the country is facing until unless something changes, something major a whole new pattern, a total game-changer, but unfortunately until and unless we realize our own potential and worth in the world we won’t excel in anything any time soon.

One of the major issues regarding ‘not realizing its potential is the fact people of Pakistan do not know its potential at all. Despite the so-called ‘evolution’ in the education sector, the major populous do not know the ‘gold mine’ Pakistan’s airline industry has to offer. The lack of self-awareness is heartbreaking, Pakistan’s airline industry can still provide so much revenue and job opportunities that it’s ‘rusting away to dust’ people are concerned with more immediate results instead of long term planning which Pakistan’s aviation industry has the potential to provide. Despite all the controversy Pakistan’s Aviation Industry is still standing.
