Cabin crew is one of those elite jobs that provide you with an opportunity to travel around the world and literally get paid for it. However, becoming one is not an easy task. Here is an AirAsia cabin crew interview experience of a candidate.
AirAsia Cabin Crew Interview Experience
After a long time, AirAsia conducted the walk-in-interview. Aspirants were excited and also the experienced crew which were jobless from the pandemic also had some hope from this interview.
On 10 April 2022 interview was scheduled at Pune, Hotel Hyatt. If we get selected on 10 April, they would call you for the next round which was the next day.
1st Round
On 10 April, they conducted the first round. The 1st round was a BMI check. Basically, your height and weight requirements should fit their criteria. Luckily, I cleared the first round as I was taking proper care of my body and BMI. Also as per my previous knowledge in working with Goair.
2nd Round
2nd round was a document check. Here the required documents which were asked by AirAsia on invitation mail were checked and if everything was fine, we proceeded to the next round. I cleared this round as well with a proper documentation check.
3rd Round
3rd round was a cat-walk round. A group of 10 candidates were basically asked to go together in front of HR.
HR asked us to walk around. They also checked our hands for visible tattoos, birthmarks and other accident marks. Furthermore, they checked our faces for visible acne. Also, checked our teeth to make sure they were in proper shape and condition.
After that, they handed out an instruction card where you could see the inflight announcement written in English and Hindi. We were told to read it aloud.
After this round, we were told to wait for our 3rd round result.
Finally, we received our results where all 10 candidates including me failed to move to the next round. It was shocking for me as I properly read the announcement with confidence.
So, here my day finished with a bad experience. I was hoping to get selected and start again flying.
I had lost my job during the lockdown due to some personal reasons and It’s been getting difficult to get a job in aviation even for experienced cabin crew.
4th Round
The next round was the 4th round which was an English test. Here you receive a number from them. You have to call on that number and they ask you some questions and you had to answer them. Basically, they check your listening skills.
If u clear this round, you move to the final round which was the personal introduction round with the HR.
