Indian Airforce (IAF)

It is a dream for many students to work in this prestigious institute. You can enter IAF through AFCAT conducted by IAF. Lots of students prepare for AFCAT every year, it is conducted twice a year. You can appear for this entrance examination after pursuing Bsc. Aircraft Maintenance or BSc Aeronautics.

Indian Army

Indian army has its own aircraft and mainly helicopters. Indian army recruits aircraft maintenance engineers as it was advertised in technical graduate course notification. More often than not, people get confused as it is sometimes written as B.E/B.Tech in Aeronautical or aerospace but related fields like AME graduates and other allied disciplines students can also apply for such posts.

Indian Army is a prestigious organisation with good emoluments and facilities and you will be posted at good ranks as you qualify the selection procedure.

Government jobs at HAL

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is a government enterprise that deals with designing, manufacturing, repairing and overhauling of Aircraft. HAL often recruits Aircraft maintenance Engineers and Aircraft maintenance technicians on a permanent basis or contractual basis. HAL also offers apprenticeships for aircraft maintenance students.

BSF Air wings

The Border Security Force also owns and operates its aircraft. Earlier BSF used to recruit on a contractual basis and on a walk-in interview basis. If any candidates want government jobs in the AME field you may apply at BSF. Since last year Entrance examination was introduced for Joining BSF. Government Jobs at DGCA

Directorate General of Civil Aviation is the Regulatory Authority for Civil Aviation in India it is also a part of the ministry of civil Aviation. DGCA often recruits Airworthiness officers, Accident Investigators and various other posts. One may apply for such posts as per eligibility.
